The body length, width, and height are 4988mm, 1875mm, and 1470mm respectively, with a wheelbase of 2920mm, positioning it as a mid-size car.

In terms of exterior, the new Hongqi H5's vertical waterfall-style front grille retains the "mountain waterfall" design, the daytime running lights have been repositioned to the inner side of the chrome trim, and the split headlight assemblies below have increased in size. The taillight decorative details have been optimized, officially named "phoenix tail lights."

In terms of interior, the new Hongqi H5 features the Lingxi cockpit, equipped with a 10.25-inch full LCD instrument panel and a 15.6-inch 2.5K resolution floating central control screen, with the Qiling Pro Edition additionally offering a head-up display. The infotainment system is powered by the 8155P chip, supporting continuous voice recognition, the Doubao large model, as well as CarPlay, HUAWEI HiCar, and Carlink phone connectivity.

In terms of driver assistance, the new Hongqi H5 introduces the Hongqi Sinan driver assistance system, supporting highway navigation assist, urban memory navigation assist, trail reversing assist, and full-scenario intelligent parking assist.

In terms of powertrain, the new Hongqi H5 offers two power options: 1.5T and 2.0T. The 1.5T engine produces a maximum power of 124 kW and maximum torque of 258 N·m, with a 0-100km/h acceleration time of 9.5 seconds, WLTC combined fuel consumption of 6.1 L/100km, paired with a 7-speed wet dual-clutch transmission (7DCT). The 2.0T engine produces a maximum power of 165 kW and maximum torque of 340 N·m, with a 0-100km/h acceleration time of 7.8 seconds, fuel consumption of 6.4 L/100km, paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission (8AT).

Xiao Tang's view: The new Hongqi H5 has been revised quite substantially this time. The exterior and interior adjustments focus on improving everyday usability, such as repositioning the daytime running lights and switching to an electronic column shifter to increase storage space; the addition of the Lingxi cockpit and 8155P chip allows the infotainment response speed and connectivity features to catch up with current mainstream levels. The powertrain and dimensions remain unchanged, meaning the original driving feel and spatial performance are fully retained.
