On August 6, Wuling officially released the exterior official images of its all-new pure electric small SUV, the Wuling Bingo S. The new car offers four color options: Relaxed Gray, Free Blue, Carefree Purple, and Blank White. Its price will be slightly higher than that of the Wuling Bingo, with the starting price possibly set at around 70,000 yuan.
In terms of exterior design, the new car adopts a body design featuring radiant aesthetics, with a closed front face paired with flying-wing-style headlight clusters. The interior of the headlight clusters is treated in black, and the trapezoidal air intake in the front bumper and the guide grooves on both sides add a sporty touch. At the rear, the new car is equipped with pulsar ring-style taillight clusters, and the shape of the rear bumper continues the design of the front bumper. The new car measures 4265/1785/1600mm in length, width, and height respectively, with a wheelbase of 2610mm.
In terms of power, the new car will adopt a single-motor layout, with a maximum motor power of 75 kilowatts, paired with a lithium iron phosphate battery pack. Its range capability has not yet been announced.
Xiao Tang's comments: The Wuling Bingo is Wuling's first five-door pure electric vehicle. It was launched in March 2023, with a guide price ranging from 56,800 to 84,800 yuan. Cumulative sales of the Wuling Bingo have exceeded 100,000 units, making it one of the more successful models in the A0-class pure electric vehicle segment. Limited by its 3950mm vehicle length, the rear seats of the five-door, four-seat Wuling Bingo are not suitable for long rides, and compared with the same-class Geely Xingyuan, the Wuling Bingo does not have an advantage in space performance, nor does its power performance match that of the Geely Xingyuan. The vehicle length of the Wuling Bingo S has increased to 4265mm, making the interior space more spacious, and its power and range have also improved significantly, making up for the gap with competitors. Wuling officially stated that the "S" in the Wuling Bingo S stands for "Shift," implying a one-key switch to a colorful life. Information about the new car's interior and configurations will be released in the near future, and the estimated price range is 70,000 to 100,000 yuan.
