Based on rich experience in serving major events and systematic technology and talent reserves, Geely Holding, centered on the World Games strategy of "Sports Without Limits, Geely Walks Together," carried out comprehensive and detailed work in the following aspects:
First, in terms of mobility support, it fully leveraged its technological advantages in new energy fields such as pure electric and super hybrid, and efficiently delivered nearly 500 premium intelligent new energy models from brands including Geely Galaxy, Lynk & Co, and Zeekr, covering multiple energy forms such as pure electric and hybrid. These models brought safe, reliable, clean, and low-carbon vehicle experiences in multiple scenarios including flame collection, torch relay, event work vehicles, and guest shuttle services. Among them, the Lynk & Co 900, as the vehicle for the Chengdu World Games torch relay, provided full support for the first torch relay in the history of the World Games. In addition, Geely Holding also formed a service support team of 1,000 people, including more than 300 professional drivers, more than 400 outstanding volunteers, as well as technical engineers and operations management teams from various sections. They all passed strict screening and training and possess solid professional capabilities, ensuring that they add luster to the World Games with high-standard and high-quality services. It is expected that as of 24:00 on the 18th, the Geely mobility support team for the Chengdu World Games will have accumulated more than 350,000 kilometers of service mileage and served more than 15,000 person-times.
Second, in terms of intelligent support, Geely Holding relied on the strong empowerment of its "space-ground integrated" technological ecosystem, including the Geely Constellation low-orbit satellites and the Geely Xingrui Intelligent Computing Center, to help build an "intelligent World Games." On the third day of the World Games opening, the fourth orbital plane satellite of the Geely Constellation was successfully launched into orbit, bringing the number of in-orbit satellites to 41. Relying on satellite data, Geely Holding can provide high-precision positioning and emergency satellite communication services for official event vehicles, helping achieve precise vehicle management and dispatch and improving the level of intelligent mobility at the World Games. In the near future, the "Geely World Games" satellite will also be launched on a selected date to help achieve broader coverage and stronger connectivity in satellite IoT communication capabilities. Through self-developed satellite communication and space-ground integrated platform technologies, Geely Holding took the lead in applying commercial aerospace to the Hangzhou Asian Games, Harbin Asian Winter Games, and Chengdu World Games, strengthening China's commercial aerospace infrastructure support capabilities in sports events and smart transportation.
Third, in terms of World Games culture communication, Geely Holding practiced the concept of "mass sports for all" and organically integrated "automotive culture" with "sports culture" to convey the diverse vitality of the "humanistic World Games." In June this year, Geely Holding and the Chengdu World Games Executive Committee jointly held the Geely National Games, creating a World Games carnival tailored for the general public and promoting the spread of the World Games spirit. Geely Holding also signed cooperation agreements with the Chinese National Wushu Routine Team, the Chinese National Triathlon Team, and the Chinese National Frisbee Training Team to explore long-term support for popular niche events and jointly promote mass sports culture.
