On August 5, the 2027 AION RT was officially launched, with four models offered: the 550 Smart Enjoy Edition, the 605 Smart Luxury Edition, the 710 Smart Luxury Edition, and the 710 Smart Premium Edition. This facelift mainly focuses on adjustments to the electric drive system, range capability, and some interior and exterior details.
The 2027 AION RT continues the current model's fastback coupe styling, with only detailed exterior optimizations, replacing the fully hidden door handles with a semi-hidden design and adding emergency release handles to cope with usage scenarios in extreme weather. The body dimensions are unchanged, with length, width, and height of 4865 mm, 1875 mm, and 1520 mm respectively, and a wheelbase of 2775 mm. The trunk capacity is 540 liters.
The interior of the 2027 AION RT adds new soft-touch wrapped areas and a new dirt-resistant color scheme. The center console continues to use the combination of an 8.88-inch instrument cluster and a 14.6-inch central control screen, equipped with the ADiGO 6.0 system, supporting full-vehicle intelligent voice control, phone connectivity, and remote vehicle control functions. The roof adopts a split-type sunroof with a standard electric sunshade. The driver's seat supports heating and ventilation, and the 710 Smart Premium Edition also provides heating and ventilation for the front passenger seat.
The 2027 AION RT adopts a new-generation end-to-end intelligent driving assistance large model, with 360 surround-view cameras + transparent chassis standard across the entire lineup. Except for the 550 Smart Enjoy Edition, all other models have L2-level assisted driving capability, among which the 710 Smart Premium Edition also supports highway navigation assistance and full-scenario intelligent parking.
The 2027 AION RT is equipped with an amorphous alloy electric drive system and a CATL lithium iron phosphate 2.0 Magazine Battery. The 550 Smart Enjoy Edition and 605 Smart Luxury Edition have a battery capacity of 56.6 kWh, while the 710 Smart Luxury Edition and 710 Smart Premium Edition have a battery capacity of 70.1 kWh. Among them, the motor equipped in the 710 km range version features a 0.025 mm amorphous alloy iron core and a carbon fiber rotor. Compared with traditional silicon steel sheet motors, this structure reduces iron core loss by 75%, and the motor's peak efficiency can reach 99%; the paired 400V silicon carbide electronic control module reduces electronic control loss by 71.6% compared with traditional silicon-based solutions. It comes standard with 6kW external discharge and high-voltage cutoff upon collision.

The three-electric system is the core of this facelift. The amorphous alloy electric drive paired with silicon carbide electronic control increases the range to 710 km and also reduces electricity consumption per 100 km, which means lower daily charging costs and a longer travel radius for family users.
