On April 18, official images of the 2026 model Ledao L90 were released. As a model-year facelift, the new car mainly adds supplements in exterior appearance and configuration, and is planned to go on sale on April 21.

Judging from the official images, the 2026 Ledao L90 continues the overall design language of the current model, and the front face continues to adopt split-type headlights and a closed-off shape. A watchtower-style lidar has been added at the roof position. A small blue light for intelligent assisted driving has been added at the exterior rearview mirrors. This light is hidden in the curved surface seam and will automatically illuminate when the driving assistance function is turned on.

The rear continues to be equipped with an intelligent interactive pixel taillight, along with a roof spoiler and a hidden rear wiper. The new car offers a new 21-inch multi-spoke Xuanhui wheel rim, adopting a black-silver contrasting multi-spoke radial design. The changes are mainly concentrated in body colors and detail decorations: two new two-tone body colors have been added, namely purple-gold two-tone and silver-purple two-tone. Both two-tone schemes use the waterline as the dividing line. The upper half of the silver-purple two-tone is "Ningye Purple," and the lower half is "Chenhui Silver"; the purple-gold two-tone uses "Ningye Purple" with "Yunxi Gold." At the same time, the window trim has also been treated in the same color according to the two-tone scheme.

The body dimensions remain unchanged, with length, width, and height of 5145mm, 1998mm, and 1786mm respectively, and a wheelbase of 3110mm. Six-seat and seven-seat layouts continue to be offered. The interior is equipped with a 17.3-inch 3K overhead screen, an 8-inch rear screen, an 8.86L onboard refrigerator (0-50°C temperature zone), 256-color ambient lighting, a 23-speaker audio system, and a large panoramic sunroof.

The powertrain system is consistent with the current model and still adopts all-domain 900V three-electric technology. The single-motor rear-wheel-drive version has a maximum power of 340kW and accelerates from 0-100km/h in 5.9 seconds; the dual-motor four-wheel-drive version has a combined maximum power of 440kW (100kW front, 340kW rear) and accelerates from 0-100km/h in 4.7 seconds. The entire series comes standard with an 85kWh battery. The CLTC range of the rear-wheel-drive version is 605km, and that of the four-wheel-drive version is 570km.

Commentary: Ledao is a family vehicle brand under NIO. As its flagship model, the L90 shares the Shenji NX9031 chip, 900V platform, and battery swap network with NIO. Since its launch, the vehicle has accumulated nearly 50,000 deliveries and has a certain degree of recognition in the RMB 300,000-class pure electric large SUV market. Its 240L front trunk, large three-row space, and BaaS battery rental solution are relatively distinctive features. The 2026 model adds a lidar version, which can be seen as a completion of its intelligent driving capabilities, and its actual performance still remains to be verified after launch.
