July 22 news: The new Tank 500 will make its debut on July 25. According to previously exposed filing images of the new Tank 500 Hi4-T/Hi4-Z, the new model's grille pattern has slight adjustments, and a LiDAR system has been added, which is expected to be equipped with Coffee Pilot Ultra driving assistance.

In terms of appearance, the new car's exterior is basically consistent with the current model, the chrome trim inside the grille has been changed to a stacked style, and the "GWM" logo has been added to the rear. Reports indicate that the new Tank 500 will be equipped with Hesai ATX LiDAR. Compared with the Hesai AT128 LiDAR used in the Wey Blue Mountain, the Hesai ATX LiDAR has a 60% smaller volume, 50% less weight, longer detection range, and higher resolution.

In terms of power, both the new Tank 500 Hi4-T/Hi4-Z are equipped with a plug-in hybrid powertrain composed of a 2.0T engine and an electric motor. The maximum power of the 2.0T engine is 185 kW.
Dada review: The Tank 500 is positioned as a mid-to-large hardcore SUV, with front and rear differential locks standard across the lineup, adopting TOD two-speed four-wheel drive and a central mechanical locking function, offering strong off-road capability. The Tank 500 has performed well in sales, with a total of 21,344 units sold in the first half of this year. Coffee Pilot Ultra is Great Wall Motor's third-generation intelligent driving assistance system, adopting Nvidia's Orin-X high-computing-power domain control platform, and based on the SEE intelligent driving assistance large model, it can achieve full-scenario coverage. After the new Tank 500 is equipped with the Coffee Pilot Ultra driving assistance system, its product strength will improve qualitatively, narrowing the soft-power gap with emerging forces. Users who value both off-road performance and intelligent driving features will no longer need to look back and forth between traditional brands and emerging forces!
